Grandmother can do it Grandfather can do it Do it and feel alright

Went to go see Toots and the Maytals last night at The Alrosa Villa Rocking Columbus For More Than 31 Years! Really good show, especially since I forgot they were rolling through town. Luckily, a friend reminded me at what become our weekly coney and PBR Wednesday nights at Carabar. The band was incredibly tight and Toots is at the top of his game. Reggae Got Soul, Reggae also has a bevy of fine young ladies that make you want to dance all night.

First time checking out the ALROSAVILLA! ROCKING COLUMBUS FOR MORE THAN 31 YEARS venue. Actually, it wasn’t bad. Not quite as nice as Little Brothers but larger. I’ll take it over Lifestyles Community Pavilion any day of the week. Still waiting to see any band name that shares the marquee with “Lifestyles Community Pavilion” just automatically loses credibility in my book. Try imagine any cool band with that marquee.

Yumbambé Last Performance at the Music Hall

Spent the night listening to the sounds, sights and stylings of Yumbambé for their last performance at Columbus Music Hall. For the rest of eternity it looks like if you want to SALSA in Cap City you will have to enjoy the stylings of Yumbambé at the Bar of Modern Art (i.e. BOMA) (i.e. bourgeoisie oriented macho assholes) Salsa dancing amazes me; matches that would never exist if it were not for the dance partner. Evidently if the underdog can salsa he can get any girl in this cow town.
